Commercial Pest Control

Commercial pest management is a documentation job as much as a treatment job. If your auditor cannot see what was applied, where, when, by whom and under what licence, the program has failed regardless of whether there are pests.

  • QBCC 15315305
  • QLD PMT 1004307814
  • $20 million public liability & professional indemnity
  • AS 3660.2 & AS 4349.3 reporting
  • APVMA-registered products only

Documentation is the deliverable

For a commercial site, the treatment is half the job. The other half is a record your auditor will accept: what was applied, where, at what rate, on what date, by whom, under which licence, with the Safety Data Sheet and APVMA registration attached, and a corresponding record of what was found and what was recommended. We build the program around your audit requirement, not the other way round.

Sectors we service

Food & hospitality

Cafes, restaurants, taverns, commercial kitchens, bakeries and food manufacturing. Programs built to the documentation standard a food safety audit expects, including AEPMA’s Code of Practice for Pest Management in the Food Industry.

Sensitive places

Residential aged care, childcare, schools and medical centres. Queensland’s pest management licensing treats these as a distinct category, and the product selection, timing and notification requirements differ accordingly.

Industrial & logistics

Warehousing, factories, cold storage and distribution. Perimeter rodent programs on lockable stations with mapped station registers and service logs.

Retail & offices

Shopping centres, retail tenancies and commercial offices. After-hours service where trading hours require it.

Property & real estate

Rental preparation, end-of-lease treatments and managed portfolios, with certificates issued per property.

High-rise & strata

Scheme-wide programs for residential and mixed-use buildings. See our strata page.

What a program includes

  • Site survey and risk assessment — entry points, harbourage, hygiene, stock rotation, waste handling and structural defects.
  • Numbered, mapped bait station register with a service record per station.
  • Scheduled service visits at a frequency set by risk and audit requirement.
  • Service report per visit, issued to your nominated contact.
  • Product documentation pack — SDS and APVMA registration for everything on site.
  • Licence and insurance certificates — QBCC 15315305, PMT 1004307814, $20 million public liability and professional indemnity, Certificates of Currency on request.
  • Callout response between scheduled visits where the program includes it.

Compliance detail that matters

Queensland licenses pest management technicians under the Medicines and Poisons Act 2019, and the licence categories distinguish ordinary urban pest work from high-risk places such as food manufacturing and livestock premises, and sensitive places such as residential aged care facilities and schools. If your site falls into either category, the technician’s licence has to cover it. Ask for it — of us and of anyone else quoting.

We also specify products by name in the service record rather than generically. Where a client’s own specification names a product we do not use or cannot supply compliantly, we raise it in writing and seek a variation rather than substituting silently.

Your rights come first, and they are not ours to limit

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with the service, you are entitled: 1. to cancel your service contract with us; and 2. to a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value. You are also entitled to be compensated for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. If the failure does not amount to a major failure you are entitled to have problems with the service rectified in a reasonable time and, if this is not done, to cancel your contract and obtain a refund for the unused portion of the contract.

Anything we offer below is in addition to those rights, not instead of them.

Frequently asked

Can you work around our trading hours?

Yes. Hospitality, retail and food manufacturing sites are routinely serviced before opening or after close, and that is built into the program rather than charged as an after-hours premium surprise.

What documentation will we get for our audit?

A service report per visit listing products, application points, rates and findings; a mapped and numbered bait station register with per-station service records; Safety Data Sheets and APVMA registration details for every product on site; and our licence and insurance certificates — QBCC 15315305, PMT 1004307814, $20 million public liability and professional indemnity, with Certificates of Currency on request.
