What we collect

When you contact us we collect your name, phone number, email address and the property address, because we cannot quote or attend without them. When we carry out work we record what was found, what was applied, where and at what rate — a record we are required to keep under Queensland pest management regulation.

What we do with it

We use it to quote, schedule, carry out and document the work, to issue invoices and reports, and to remind you when an annual termite inspection falls due. We do not sell it and we do not provide it to third parties for marketing.

Who we share it with

Only where the work requires it — for example, providing a report to a body corporate or manager where they commissioned it, or to a product manufacturer where a warranty claim is being made on your behalf. Our accounting and scheduling software providers store data on our behalf under their own obligations.

How long we keep it

Service and chemical application records are kept for the period required under Queensland pest management record-keeping obligations. Financial records are kept as required under Australian tax law.

This website

This site does not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics profiling. It loads web fonts from Google Fonts, which means Google receives the request for those font files. Nothing else on the page calls out to a third party.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by emailing info@bugboss.com.au. If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information, tell us first and we will try to fix it — and you can then take the matter to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
