What happens on the day
- Walk-through and inspection. We look at what you have, where it is coming from, and what on the property is helping it — harbourage, moisture, entry points, stored goods.
- Internal treatment. Seclira WSG applied to the tops of window and door architraves and to cornices, with Seclira Gel placed strategically on bait dots inside cupboards. Doxem Precise goes to crack and crevice and to the kitchen for cockroaches and ants.
- Roof void. Coopex dusting powder through accessible roof voids and subfloors. This is where cockroaches breed in Brisbane homes and it is the step most operators skip.
- External perimeter. A residual band around the building, plus eaves, weep holes, fence lines, bins, and the harbourage points that feed the internal problem.
- Written record. You get told what was applied, where, and at what rate.
Real-world application amounts, for context: a liquid job around a property never goes past 8 L, dust is never more than 100 g, and an aerosol application is a 15 to 30 second discharge. Anyone promising to drench your house is not doing you a favour.
Safe around kids and pets: what that actually means
Every pest control company in Brisbane says “family and pet safe”. Very few say what they mean by it, and an unqualified claim that a treatment is “safe” or “non-toxic” is not one we are willing to make. Here is the specific version.
- Every product we apply is registered with the APVMA for the use we put it to, and is applied at label rate. Registration is a verifiable fact; “safe” is not.
- We select low-hazard formulations for occupied homes. Our standard internal residual is Seclira WSG (dinotefuran 400 g/kg, APVMA 83011), with Seclira Gel Cockroach Bait (dinotefuran 5 g/kg, APVMA 83034) placed on bait dots inside cupboards rather than sprayed across surfaces.
- Keep children and pets off treated surfaces until they are dry — typically 30 to 60 minutes for internal areas. Once dry, treated surfaces are fine for normal contact.
- Rodenticides go in lockable stations only, never loose. We use Selontra soft bait (colecalciferol 0.75 g/kg, APVMA 81767) in high-traffic internal areas, and where a second-generation product is genuinely warranted it is used strictly to label under the restricted-chemical rules that took effect in 2026.
- We will tell you what we applied, where, and at what rate, and the Safety Data Sheet for every product is available on request before we treat, not after.
What we will not tell you is that a treatment is chemical free, non-toxic, eco-friendly or one hundred per cent safe. If a pest control company uses a registered pesticide, none of those claims is true, and under Australian Consumer Law they are claims the business has to be able to substantiate.

Larger homes, acreage and properties with unusual access are quoted on inspection. The price is confirmed in writing before we start, and it does not move afterwards.
What is excluded, stated up front
German cockroach is not covered by a standard general pest treatment and is quoted separately at $180 per affected room as a two-treatment program. This is not a catch — it is a different pest requiring a different method. German cockroach breeds indoors, resists surface sprays, and needs a gel baiting program with a follow-up to break the cycle. Any company that tells you a single $300 spray fixes German cockroach is either misidentifying the species or setting you up for a return visit you will be charged for.
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with the service, you are entitled: 1. to cancel your service contract with us; and 2. to a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value. You are also entitled to be compensated for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. If the failure does not amount to a major failure you are entitled to have problems with the service rectified in a reasonable time and, if this is not done, to cancel your contract and obtain a refund for the unused portion of the contract.
Anything we offer below is in addition to those rights, not instead of them.
Frequently asked
How long before I stop seeing pests?
Expect activity to increase for a few days before it drops away. That is the treatment working — insects are moving through treated surfaces and out of harbourage. Most homes are quiet within one to two weeks. If you are still seeing activity after that, call us.
Do I need to leave the house?
Not usually. We ask that people and pets stay off treated surfaces until they are dry, typically 30 to 60 minutes internally. If anyone in the house is pregnant, immune-compromised or has a respiratory condition, tell us at the booking and we will plan the application around it.
Should I mop after the treatment?
Not for a few weeks along skirting boards and treated edges. Mopping the middle of the floor is fine. Washing the treated bands straight away removes the residual you just paid for, and it is the most common reason a treatment underperforms.
