What to have ready when you call
Four things, and we can usually price the job on the spot:
- The address, or at least the suburb.
- Roughly how old the house is and whether it’s on stumps with a subfloor or on a concrete slab. If you don’t know, tell us whether you can get under any part of it.
- What you’re seeing — and where. A photo to info@bugboss.com.au helps more than a description, particularly for cockroaches and termite damage.
- Whether it’s urgent. If you’ve found live termites, say so immediately. That changes what we tell you to do next.
Do not spray them. Do not disturb them. Do not knock the mud tubes off.
Disturbing an active colony makes them retreat and re-route, which scatters the infestation through the building and makes it far harder and more expensive to treat properly. Surface sprays from the hardware store kill the few you can see and drive the rest deeper into the structure.

Quotes for strata and commercial
For a body corporate, send the CTS number and address, the number of lots, the building type and storeys, and anything we should know about access. For a commercial site, tell us the sector and what your audit requires. We come back with a written scope, a pricing schedule and the compliance pack — no charge, no obligation.

How quickly can you come out?
Often the same day, depending on where the run already is. We work a tight patch from the Bayside across to the northside, which is what makes that realistic. Call and we will tell you honestly what today looks like rather than taking the booking and sorting it out afterwards.
Do you charge for a quote?
No. Phone quotes are free, and for termite barriers and commercial or strata work we measure and scope on site at no charge and no obligation.
Do I need to be home?
For an internal treatment or a termite inspection, yes — someone needs to let us in and we want to walk you through what we found. External-only work and bait station servicing can be done without you there.
How do I pay?
On completion, by card or bank transfer. Commercial and strata accounts are invoiced on terms. We do not ask for payment before the work is done.
